Whitehill Holiday Club - Crowborough

The Holiday Club will extend the quality childcare services available to the community in Crowborough, under the management of the existing successful Whitehill Nursery School.

Operating from within the premises of Whitehill Infant School in Crowborough, the Holiday Club offers 49 places per sesssion with dedicated, qualified staff supervising at all times.

The objective of the Holiday Club is to provide all our children with numerous activities, projects and experiences to ensure that they have a wonderful break from school.

Aims of the Holiday Club
  1. Working in partnership with Whitehill Infant School, we are working to develop and maintain a high quality integrated extended schools service with the best outcomes for children and choice for parents in the local community in Crowborough.
  2. To provide an excellent service for working parents and a well deserved break for parents of children in the local community.
  3. To provide a varied programme of activities supporting all ages and abilities.
  4. To provide a safe and stimulating, caring and secure atmosphere where your child can fully develop his/her mental, physical and social skills through play activities.
  5. To enhance your child's self confidence, raise aspirations, improve relationships and create better attitudes to learning.
  6. To provide high quality play and learning experiences for your child.
  7. To work within a framework that ensures quality of opportunity for all children and families.
  8. To liase with outside agencies and the local community in Crowborough.
  9. To value each child as an individual.

Baked potato, pasta, spaghetti on wholemeal toast, pizza, hot dogs, yoghurt and fresh fruit.

Example of activities provided

puzzles, board games, construction toys, art/craft activities, writing/drawing/colouring areas, television, quiet areas, computers and PC games, book areas, various toys suitable for differing age groups and abilities, ride on toys for the younger children, outside toys and activities, large outside games and pop up tents. Sports equipment for all ages.

The following are examples of special activities that are planned: Cookery, pottery and sports sessions, nature area & pond dipping, music, dance & art.

Additional Fees

Additional reasonable fees may be charged for external outings/activities as applicable.

Cancellations and Payments

On receipt of confirmation from the Whitehill Holiday Club that a session has been reserved, liability will exist for the payment of all invoiced fees whether a session is missed or not later required. Whitehill Holiday Club regrets that it is not possible to give refunds.

Invoice Terms and Conditions

Invoices will be issued for each child for requested sessions detailing payment terms. Late payments of fees and any unpaid fees may incur an administration fee of £2.50 per week until payment is received. If the fees have not been received within an acceptable period, Whitehill Holiday Club reserves the right not to admit the child/children concerned until the fees and surcharges have been received in full.

Payment Methods

The fees can be paid either by cheque or cash and will be due as detailed on the invoice payment schedule. Cheques should be made payable to 'Whitehill Nursery School Limited'.
